The Weihai Ziguang National Postdoctoral Research Workstation is a solid bridge for building cooperation between high-end talents and enterprises. In November, Wang Chenying and Zhang Bin, two postdoctoral fellows jointly trained by Weihai Ziguang and Shandong Agricultural University, successfully launched a new research project and completed the mid-term defense of their ongoing research project. Two PhDs focus on the core technical challenges in the field of figs, and through close collaboration with the industry, are committed to efficiently transforming scientific research achievements into practical applications, driving industrial upgrading.

At the mid-term assessment meeting, Dr. Zhang Bin gave a comprehensive and in-depth report on the impact of different pretreatment technologies on energy-saving drying and quality control of figs. He conducted scientifically rigorous comparative experiments and analyzed in detail the specific effects of different pretreatment techniques on the efficiency and quality of fig hot air drying, providing detailed scientific basis for energy-saving drying of figs. Dr. Zhang Bin's research results not only greatly optimize the drying process of figs, significantly reduce energy consumption, but also effectively ensure the stable quality of figs during the drying process.

At the opening report meeting, Dr. Wang Chenying gave a detailed explanation on the research topic of "Aroma enhancement technology and aging stability of fig fruit wine". She plans to significantly enhance the aroma and aging stability of fig fruit wine by finely adjusting fermentation conditions and innovatively adopting different aging processes. Dr. Wang Chenying's research aims to provide consumers with higher quality and more unique flavor fig fruit wine products, while also opening up a new path for the innovative development of the fig fruit wine industry.
