At the competition site, 6 canteen chefs and 2 newly recruited chefs participated in the competition, showing their best dishes, from home-cooked stir-fry to creative dishes, they used ingenious knife work, precise heat and unique creativity, and played a food symphony with pots and pans, each work tells the unique insights and infinite love of the chef for food. Through the skill competition, the chefs not only show their individual talents, but also learn from each other and make progress together, laying a solid foundation for improving the quality of the canteen's dishes and the dining experience of the staff.
Li Xuezhai, the current chef of Gushan Town Government, is a professional judge teacher, and is carefully selected by the restaurant management team to form a 12-member grassroots employee representative jury covering different ages of post-70s, post-80s, post-90s, post-00s, as well as sales, production, administration and other different positions. The members of the jury carefully tasted each dish and made a comprehensive score in terms of color, aroma, taste, shape and meaning to ensure the breadth and fairness of the selection results.
After fierce competition and careful selection by the judges, two winners were finally selected and awarded trophies and red envelopes that symbolize honor. The participating chefs also won the applause and high praise of the judges with their outstanding skills and creative dishes.
