The Workers' Congress is an organizational structure in which employees are the masters of their own affairs, participate in the decision-making, management, supervision of cadres, and exercise democratic rights in enterprise management. It is the basic form of democratic management in enterprises.

On May 25th, the 6th Employee Representative Conference of Weihai Ziguang in 2024 was warmly held in the auditorium of the Intelligent Industry Park. The meeting was chaired by Sun Shuxian, Chairman of Weihai Ziguang Labor Union. Liu Xiaohua, Manager of Weihai Ziguang Human Resources and Administration Department, attended the meeting as a representative of the enterprise. A total of 68 representatives of employees from various departments of Weihai Ziguang attended the meeting.

Weihai Ziguang Labor Union adheres to the principle of putting employees first, actively and scientifically safeguarding their rights in accordance with the law, closely focusing on the most concerned, direct, and practical issues of employees, expanding democratic participation channels, establishing and improving mechanisms for expressing employee wishes and demands, effectively safeguarding, realizing, and developing the legitimate rights and interests of employees, and hoping to promote the harmonious construction of the enterprise, fully mobilizing and unleashing the production enthusiasm and creativity of employees.

Every worker's congress receives many proposals from employee representatives, each proposal not only expresses the inner thoughts of employees, but also embodies their earnest hope for the future development of the enterprise. The employee representatives participating in this Workers' Congress cover all levels, departments, and workshops of the company, with high representativeness, breadth, and mass appeal. At the meeting, representatives held a highly responsible attitude towards the enterprise, and proposed and discussed various aspects such as employee training, workshop production, technical transformation, employee welfare benefits, and corporate culture construction. Everyone expressed their opinions freely, put forward many valuable suggestions, and effectively fulfilled the responsibilities of job representatives.

The successful conclusion of this Workers' Congress is a comprehensive reflection of Weihai Ziguang's democratic construction, and further strengthens the institutional foundation for caring for and achieving employees. The employee representatives actively stated that they will base themselves on their own duties, lead by example, not only pursue personal excellence in their work, but also devote themselves to playing a leading and exemplary role, fulfilling their responsibilities, being diligent and pragmatic, closely uniting the vast number of employees, gathering collective wisdom, and working hand in hand to inject strong momentum into the leapfrog development of the company.
